CLASSES AT SHARPTOP
This year at Sharptop new classes will be offered to help you achieve your dreams – to attempt art mediums you have always wanted to try. New craft classes will be offered to tempt you into trying something new. New friends to make as you paint, sculpt, knit or crochet and laugh and learn together. JANUARY 2012
Start the new year off by getting your creative juices flowing. Alan Young is offering a Drawing Class at Sharptop which will teach fundamentals for beginning or intermediate pen and ink drawing. The class will emphasize composition, perspective, light principles and horizons. Students will experiment with textures and contrasts. The class will also explore rapidograph and ballpoint methods. Pencil and graphite sketching will be included. Students should bring an 18x24 80 lb. sketch book or drawing pad. The class will be held on January 12, 19, 26 and February 2 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost of the class is $76.50 for Sharptop members and $85.00 for non-members. There is no supply fee. Class size is limited, so pre-registration is required.
